For my own wedding website, I created a custom WordPress blog theme, including an online RSVP form, and a Flash application that plays songs that visitors could then vote on for the first dance.
The RSVP form is full of fun tricks, such as a password protection on an event for family & bridal party only and form fields that activate & deactivate depending on what the visitor selects. The form also checks itself for errors before submitting.
The first dance application loads a button for each song and allows the user to chose a song to play. It then loads the album cover and lyrics and allows the user to control the playback of the song. Finally, the vote button stores the votes in a database and displays the percent of votes for each song.
